Manchester United
we are on a good run at the moment but this is a big game as we
both sit joint top on 21 points this is a chance for me to pull
away if we win this but if we lose we could drop down as low as
6th so lets not lose at least i wont be present for this game as
its my big 50 tommorrow

We are drawing close to the mid-point of the season, as Golden
Eagles FC welcome Acorn Academicals to Eagles Stadium in week 11
of division one. Eagles are still tantalisingly close to the top
of table and are only a point behind new leaders Manchester
United. Indeed, only 3 points separate top to 7th, so things
could easily change yet again this week.
Eagles are back at full strength having rested many of their
first team players during the mid week league cup game. Eric Van
Oist and Jack Groves are both only one booking away from
suspension and with the EA KO Cup round 2 game coming up on
Wednesday (against an as yet unknown team), they will need to be
careful. While Acorn have Winston Hales missing through
suspension.

Reykjavik Reapers return to division 2 action today, after their
disappointing defeat in the league Cup in mid week. They travel
to bottom of the table Wolves with a 9 point lead over 2nd
placed Cockney Cockrells. Reapers manager Dave Rosewell faces a
bit of a selection issue however, with fitness levels being a
concern for some of the regular players and the EA KO cup coming
up on Wednesday.
No news has been forth coming on either team's line up, but
Reapers will be hoping for a good result against a team who have
only won once so far in the league this season.

Highland turn to league action with a home game against Cockney
Cockrells who sit second in the table. The manager will have a
nearly full squad to pick from. Only Bowen who is suspended for
one game.
The manager needs to start winning games as reports in the local
press are reporting his job may be at risk if results do not
improve. The season has not really got going for the team with a
record of 4-3-3. They are also struggling to hit the back of the
net with a net zero goal difference after 10 games.

Sarnians vs Rael Nerrad
Back the league we go, hurting a little from the defeat by
Dazoctarons Cockrells in mid week, but we hope that making 7
changes from that starting line up is enough to put Nerrad off
the scent.
The division is stacking up extremely close at the top and
almost like the lead pack of a marathon everyone is watching
everyone else to make sure they don’t miss the side who make a
sudden dash!
