we sit in 5th while the home side sit in the bottom 3 and with
only a point separating the top 5 its a game we cant afford to
lose if we want to stand any chance of trying to win the league
so all i can do is try and win it but i would be happy with a
point to try stay in the top 5 at least

It is a huge match today for Golden Eagles FC, as they travel to
Deadman's Alley to face Sarnians in a clash of division one
heavyweights. Eagles have managed to beat Sarnians twice in the
league cup already this season, but Sarnians mostly fielded a
B-side for both those games, missing the likes of Lazslo Kiss
and such. No doubt the home side will be putting out their
strongest team possible this time around, although they are a
little weakened in defence with J. Kerravinian missing through
suspension. They are also missing scout midfielder Codi Domino
with an Injury. While Eagles have have no absences and their
players are in fairly good nick.
This game could go either way, the teams sit second and third,
level on 19 points apiece and are only separated by goal
difference. Eagles have form on their side, while Sarnians have
home advantage. A win for either team would be crucial, but I'm
sure that Eagles manager Dave Rosewell would also be happy with
a draw.

Reykjavik Reapers host second place Thames Ironworks at Paragon
Stadium in division two today. Reapers are 7 points clear the of
the Londoners and a win could see them stretch their lead even
further. No doubt the likes of Cockrells, Titans and United 1908
will be hoping Ironworks can do them a favour, as they sit 9-10
points behind. Reapers have been pretty ruthless thus far,
winning 8 and drawing once.
Both sides have their full complement of players to chose from,
after Reapers midfielder Enzo Julliene returned to training in
midweek following an injury picked up in the league cup against
Helsinki Hellhounds. The young Belgian gets the nod ahead of
Anders Nylander, as the Swede drops to the bench as part of
manager Dave Rosewell's squad rotation.

Sarnians vs Golden Eagles
We welcome Dave Rosewell to North Devon for a tough game, we
look evenly matched on paper, and so we hope home advantage will
be swinging it as we look to improve what has been a tough run.
