Yerevan Stealth 2 - 0 Pompey Chimes
The big talking point of the match was after Yerevan had a goal
disallowed in the fourth minute of the game:
Min. 4 :(yer) Orxan_Blislu with a wicked turn ... A wicked drive
by Orxan_Blislu ! ... It takes a deflection! ... But flies wide
of the post! ... CORNER! ... Qulam_Akbarov lofts the ball in!
... Dario_Onio with the header ... GOAL !! ... He jumps into the
Yerevan Stealth crowd to celebrate!! ... The fans are
delighted!! ... But it's been disallowed. The reason is unclear
... An angry fan runs onto the pitch!! ... And the police get
him!! ... Disgraceful!!
In his post match interview manager Valderrama confirmed he has
asked to speak to the Yerevan Police Chief Constable after the
outrageous apprehending of one of our passionate fans, vowing to
ensure the officer in question is banned for life from the
Albanian Airlines Arena.
Back to the game and it was a comfortable night having scored
two early goals through Oniani and Ze. This allowed us to relax
a little, soak up some pressure and take a few players off to
give them a rest in the second half and gave others some useful
minutes.
It's a good start to this cup competition also having won our
first two games but there is still a long way to go. Even better
is that we have Virgil Clay back on Saturday and we won both
games we played in his absence.

happy we hung for the win after going 2 up then the big man get
himself sent off the home side did pull a goal back but we got
the crucial win
