YAKUZa Pre season Begins
Season four started in earnest this weekend, the auction list
was disclosed and a few deals have been done very early,
negotiations are whispered to be happening all over the league.
Even at us in far of Japan we have made our first few moves:
DEAL #1.
Rui_Hikkara 25 jap 1 11 15 11 23
Hikkarra had a solid season last year bu we decided to look to
seek a club for him to further his improvement, and we came to
an agreement with Cockney Cockrells to further this aim.
DEAL #2.
This deal involved a few players and surprising to some involved
a player who's was just at the club for half a season, said
player being Rob Cundy, but in reality it was always going
happen this season or next as we had Okuninushi out on loan last
season and after seeing him return to the club we have decided
now as the time to go forward with the youth goalkeeper.
Rob Cundy 23 usa 18 1 1 1 15 400 and 40m went to Nikarra
Dragons and in return we received
D. Zachariadis 26 gre 16 1 1 1 15 742 and Ayho Kushimo 21
jpn 1 15 11 10 23
D. Zachariadis is more than good enough backup to Okuninushi and
in Kushimo we believe we have got one to bring along slowly in
development.
DEAL #3.
This one might come as a bit of shock to some but with our two
main forwards 21 years old and younger and even there backup is
in mid twenties we decided to let Tobermory go, at 16 years old
he has time on his side but we had not got much time to put into
him and we accepted a 45m offer from Helsinkni.

AUCTION MAIN OPPONENTS FROM MY MANIC MINDS
MOVES
After the first round of the auction I thought Id speak on my
first thought's on a few things that happened in round one of
the said auction.
First off let me say that I had only one thing in mind to
achieve from this auction, even before we knew who or what was
on the list. One thing changed after the list was announced and
that was I for a short time got interested in an enhancement,
but after speaking with Steve, a long term friend, I knew I
hadn't got a chance of attaining it as his finances far exceeded
mine, so I decided to go back to plan A.
PLAN A: If you had
asked and a few did, I didn't hide the fact I was after a
midfielder for added quality depth.
So that meant I was interested in just two players:
Reio_Fuego 26 arg 1 11 17 4 24 1 189 256 504
Ipso_Courtou 25 por 1 5 16 10 19 1 432 555 164
I didn't care which, but obviously, Reio was the first choice
and I was not after a bargain, so I decide id offer the guide
price plus, and I don't mean the auction guide price so I bid
£163m and £154m respectively. Alas I was outbid for Reio and
that was always a possibility (Sarnians) and I got Ipso, so I
was well pleased, job done.
My few observations from the auction, considering I was
interested in a few teams acquisitions:
HELSINKI:
The main enhancement, after discussing with Steve I knew where
this would go as I knew no one matched his finances, he was
always going bid just over what anyone else could afford, he
does not like to take chances and this cost him £301m, I can
honestly say I wouldn't go this high, so I was right not to bid.
RAEL NERRAD:
I was always going be interested in where Rael Nerrard looked
and I had it down to seeking a defender or a forward and it was
proved I was thinking was correct and he got the best defender,
Dustan_Huevo 26 fra 1 17 8 3 22 1 402 211 561 up for grabs
for a reasonable (in my mind) 151m.
SARNIANS:
Pre auction, I had assessed them wanting a defender or a
midfielder and as we already know they challenged me for my
midfielders that where desired and go: Reio_Fuego 26 arg 1
11 17 4 24 1 189 256 504 they paid £174m.
POMPEY:
Last seasons thorn in everybody's plans I took keen interest in
where they where looking, from looking at the squad they have
built so far I guessed they would be after a midfielder or a
forward. Here I was shocked as they did go for a forward and my
guess was close enough but the player they bid on I would never
have guessed, they paid a measly 45m for: Wes_Kirkham 19 eng
1 4 8 13 22, a player for the future, just not what I thought
they do.
MANCHESTER:
Manchester where another side from last season who challenged
for long time last season so I decided keep an eye on them also,
I expected them to go for a forward that is the position that is
behind the others. Here I think was a manager making what I
think in retrospect was an error, he should have made the best
striker in the auction , Guille his first choice, he made him
his second, but did get his first choice for a reaonable 60m.
Eric_Franssen 22 nor 1 4 8 14 21 1 100 503 211 was that
player but looking at his squad unless he is pushing this lad
forward for progress is a squad player, where Guille who goes
into the second round would have been a guarantee starter.
GOLDEN EAGLES:
I took notice of this squad late last season and going into this
I think they have the best squad so obviously this was going be
worth keeping an eye on. Ill honestly say I couldn't pick a
position that they would be going for as they are in a good
place/balance. So I was not surprised that they went for an
enhancement and the price was reasonable since the other went
for £300 plus, £200+ seemed reasonable.
Not a bad auction and it be interested to see where Guille will
go.
