Well as we are now well into the second half of the season the
team are still looking for there first win of the season. With
only 2 points so far from the 52 on offer the team are the team
heading for a winless season. The management team will be hoping
that this not the case.
The team were hoping that new manager White would be able to get
the team into a winning steak, but so far this has not been the
case. He will have to start turning things around in the near
future or the directors may have to move and remove him from his
position. The only thing saving him at present is that the fans
are still behind him at present.
There have been a couple of signing but both players are more
about the future rather than the present and maybe the team will
have to be active in the transfer market again.
The main issue the team has is that they have been able to
convert shots into goals they have only scored 8 goals in the 14
league goals this season. RIORDAN_HUWE was brought in to try
and improve the forward line but has only scored once from 31
shoots. He will need to improve his scoring percentage if he is
to stay at the club. The rumours are that the team are already
talking to other players so RIORDAN stay at the club may not be
along one.
The teams next match is a home to Cockney_Cockrells and the
manger will still be missing new defensive star Steve_Bowen and
Diode_Navrick, which gives him limited opposition’s in defence.
Other than that they have a full squad to pick from. The fans
will hope for the team to give them at least a battling
performance.

Highland Rangers fans must have to pinch themselves as there
teams has now won there last two games and have moved to within
2 points of Eastern Whirlwinds at the bottom of the the table.
Perhaps the team can lift themselves of the bottom which two
weeks ago did not look possible.
After 14 winless league games there first win came with a 2-0
home win against Cockney_Cockrells. The team then followed that
up with a 4-1 away victory against Thames Ironworks. They now
head in to a home games against in form team Helsinki_Hellhounds
with renewed belief that they can win and get three wins on the
bounce.
The improvement in form can be must be a great please to manger
White and to see the newer players to the squad playing a part
in this improvement must show this plan for the team is starting
to work. When we caught up with him at the training ground we
asked him what he put this down to. He said that the team has
started to gel and the forwarders who had taken a lot of stick
in the press about their lack of goals had started to find form.
He warned fans not to get carried away as the team still had a
long way to go and that he was still looking to bring in a few
more players but this was a good start.
On the playing squad youth striker Ollie Watkins has been
promoted to the first team as a reward for all the goals he has
scored in the reserves but is yet to make an appearance in a
match day team. Both Steve Bowen and Jiang_Zuya who have been
brought in by the manager are now first team regulars and both
have put in some good performances in recent weeks. We do
understand that the club are looking to reduce the size of the
first team playing squad, but have told the manager that there
are still funds to spend on the right players if they can be
found.
In all this has been a better start to the New Year than the
fans could have hoped for as it looked like the team could have
been heading for a winless season. They now head into the last
six games with renewed hope and in to this weeks game with
Helsinki looking for there third win of the season.

There has been very little news coming out of the training
ground or club over the last couple of weeks. Following a good
run of three wins in a row the team then suffered two defeats in
there last two games and fans must be worried that the have
returned to there old ways./
Coach white faced up to the press today for the first time in a
couple of weeks and was frank about the clubs up and down form.
He sated that in the last couple of games he had decided to try
out a few new things and that these had back fired on him and he
took full responsibility for the way the team had performed in
these games. He said he was trying to give a few players to
prove themselves for the season ahead and that with the position
the team were in that this was the time to do it so he could at
least hit the start of next season with a plan of how he wanted
the team to play. The club are looking to bring in a few new
players and White wanted t see from the present squad who was
prepared to fire for there place on the first team match day
squad.
The club have backed the manager and are prepared to give him
the chance to prove himself and will back the move for the right
players. But he is well aware the more players he can move on
the larger his budget for next season will be. Overall the squad
is just a bit to large to get the best out of every player and
certain players are not happy with the way the players are being
rotated to try and keep everyone happy.
Speaking with the fans are also prepared to give the manager a
chance to prove himself. The club have stated that season ticket
holders will be able to purchase there season ticket for next
season for the same price as this season. The club have said
that so fare 80% have taken up the offer, so at least the fans
seem to be buying into the Manager philosophy.
