Free scoring Eagles put 4 goals passed Nikara Dragons in an
emphatic victory, that sees them move up to 3rd in division 2.
Pavel Chernyshev scored inside 8 minutes, as he lost his marker
and smashed the ball home. Artem Poltorak made it 2-0 in the
36th minute, capitalising of Y. Yobari's mistake.
The Ukrainian right-back then added his second in first half
stoppage time; slipping his marker and latching on to Darío
Bourrin's throw in. Eagles controlled the game and Kamil
Uzbaezanov pulled off some great saves on his way to picking up
another clean sheet. Substitute, Danik Marashko then added the
icing on the cake with a lovely chip over Hiro Hikkara.
Artem Poltorak rightly took home the man of the match award with
his fine brace. "Although Dragons had chances, we controlled the
game and Kamil (Uzbaezanov) was great in goal, as we picked up
another clean sheet. More importantly we didn't get anymore
injuries and the lads were disciplined."

You can only say it’s a fair result, the stats were so evenly
spread for both sides. Knights got out the traps lightning fast
with a first minute opener.
But 2 goals in 5 minutes before half time changed the game, at

Helsinki Hellhounds edged out bottom of the table R V Xennon 2-1
in a close encounter. Neither team had many opportunities with
only 6 shots on target combined. The home side took the lead in
the 18th minute after Damião Nogueirá latched on to Beranger
Máyobo's knock on. Guyan Louvre slipped his marker in the 40th
minute to draw his team level. There was some controversy
surrounding the goal, as he had appeared to give Angelo Nazari a
firm shove, but the ref waved play-on. :-X
Hellhounds then re-took the lead in the 63rd minute, as Turkish
sub Musa Tüzmen picked up Danny Arnold's pass. Xennon keeper,
Zandpe Steele thought he had done enough as he palmed it off the
line, but the keeper awarded the goal. The away side tried to
fight their way back, but Hellhound held out. Nogueirá was
Hellhounds' best player and was rightly awarded with man of the
match.
"Not our greatest performance, but we kept our discipline and
picked up 3 valuable points." Said manager Dave Rosewell
