MINUTES

END OF SEASON MINUTES
Before the end of season reset and the removal of players that
have not made their minutes,
teams will be given the chance to 'save' players.
Managers can exchange minutes from players that have made their
minutes
and add them to players that haven't made their minutes.
How it works
You can take upto 400 minutes from any player that has made more
than the minute requirement
they need and add half of them to a player that needs minutes.
A player cannot drop below the minute requirement by having
minutes removed.
You can only add the minutes needed to fulfill the minute
requirement and any excess minutes will be lost
Minutes will be removed/added in blocks of 10
You can only add minutes to a player twice (ie: from 2 separate
players)
Goalkeeper's are excluded
EXAMPLE:
Rael Nerrad
Amit_Farhi needs 395 minutes and has 0.
I could take 400 minutes off Shane Eagles (he has 2527 but only
needs 1375),
400 minutes off J_Alexander (he has 2300 and only needs 1275)
and
add 395 minutes to Farhi. The 5 excess minutes (from the 400)
would be lost.

I assume teams that managed their minutes well get a reward too
- perhaps 1000 abs to distribute amongst their team?
Only really fair given those sides weakened their teams to make
sure all players hit their quota, yet others get rewarded.
Better still, let's revert to what the rules state. We all knew
what was required but those teams that ignored it were able to
play a stronger side in matches, get more abs on the better
players. These players should not be able to be saved.

Valderama is pushing I think its too extreme.
Yes you are right I think managers should be rewarded BUT they
are only following the rules and 1000 abs (which is what the
manager of the year gets) is too much, maybe 300-400 would be
right like top goal; scorer would get.
Secondly I disagree because its new and we learn as we go what
works what does not work and I think what Daz has proposed here
works because its minimal in the number of minutes that can be
used, imagine he said that all the extra minutes could be used
everyone would be safe, and i don't want see managers heavily
penalised if I did, I would be against things like requesting
random sheets because shouldn't the manager who never miss a
sheet be rewarded, but again he's just following the rules.

The minimum value of the players saved is £24m so bear that in
mind so all of a sudden these teams are getting £48m - £72m in
compensation for ignoring the rules. In addition playing
stronger players at the expense of the lower skills meant more
abs on those players too so strengthens the sides that benefit
from this new rule. Not forgetting the games they will have won
at the expense of the three teams that weakened their team in
games.
I think 1000abs is actually too low based on the impact to these
three sides.
Better still and as said in my first post, let the rules stay as
they were defined at the beginning and any player that has not
hit his minutes is released without compensation. It is only the
truly fair outcome.
Change for next season by all means so we're all in the same
boat but not at the end of the season.

Only half of the minutes removed can be used and only given to
one player.
You can remove minutes from 2 players to give to one player
though.

I do agree that if sides who played full strength sides all
season long are now able to have a back stop to prevent them
losing a group of players for nothing that the 3 of us who
rotated and played weakened sides to keep our players should
have a bonus equal to the value that other sides are getting a
free pass on not losing.
I mean some sides are getting the chance to avoid losing 5
players, that’s an extra £75m from ATM fees next season that
shouldn’t be able to be earned, on average each team is getting
the chance to keep 3 players that by rights should be gone for
nothing, so I’d suggest sides that made all their minutes have
£45-£50m added (equivalent of 3 players going on the ATM) and
the chance to spend it on an additional scout player before the
reset or on stadium development without a time penalty?
