Kyushu Yakuza vs Golden Eagles FC
Big match in Japan as Eagles face Yakuza in their backyard for
match day 5 in Division One. The Japanese seem rejuvenated since
finding a new manager, while Eagles have an unbeaten run that
stretches back to the League Cup final where Yakuza beat them.
So Eagles are out for revenge and at full strength for this
massive match as they try to keep pace with their Finnish rivals
Hellhounds.

Shymkent Scimitars vs HNK Dubrovnik Devils
After bruising could of games, including defeats to Incas and
RIX, Scimitars look to get back on track as they host Dubrovnik
Devils. They will be without suspended striker Mushin Ahmedov
who was sent off in the cup against RIX, Narong Moonsuwan will
start along side Vahid Gholizadeh. Sardor Kedryuk get his first
of the season with the midfield getting reshuffle due to
fitness. Devils are missing Michal Zidek also due to suspension.
Can Scimitars bounce back or will they be easy prey for the
Devils?

Arctic (13th, 3 points) vs Helsinki (1st, 12 points)
Arctic have had an uncharacteristically poor start to the season
with 1 win and 3 defeats. It seems that scoring goals has been a
challenge and they've leaked a few too. Typically Arctic are a
team that challenges the top half of the table with a 6th place
finish last season - the best of the rest beyond the likes of
Sarnians, Golden Eagles, Kyushu, Nerrad and Helsinki. So this
isn't a fixture that Helsinki will take lightly. The well
managed Arctic squad is fully fit and available, so expect a
strong starting XI and probably 5 at the back given their
plethora of high quality passing defenders. Helsinki have a full
squad to choose from but the likes of Shynkarenko, Sheppard and
Warwick are in need of a rest. Having had a stellar start to the
season the manager is calling on Shynkarenko to get his scoring
boots on - he's now had 30 shots without scoring a single goal
this season. Bonkers. By comparison Jalen Hurts has 4 goals from
16 shots, Karrar has 7 goals from 34 shots, even Shephard has 3
from 30 shots. So let's hope the universe balances out for him
and he bangs in a couple today!
