Hello, welcome to 'The Sharp End', the place to find all the
news about one OFMC's newest clubs - Shymkent Scimitars

WHO ARE THE SCIMITARS?
Based in the industrial city of Shymkent in Kazakhstan, the
Shymkent Scimitars are a newly founded football team that is the
brainchild of a consortium of Central Asian businessmen. Their
goal is to find instant success in the re-expanded OMFC and to
achieve this they have recruited an all-star team of players
from Central Asia, the Middle East and Far East. The Scimitars
will play their home games at the Shashka Arena and their main
sponsors are KazPost.
They have appointed long-time OFMC member and current Eagles
manager Dave Rosewell as their caretaker. "I am very excited to
help lead Scimitars during their inaugural season OFMC and we
are aiming for a strong finish in Division Two." He commented.
