Eagles 2 - 2 Hellhounds
We feared this game would be pivotal for all the wrong reasons.
But maybe just maybe this was a critical weekend in the title
race for all the right reasons. At one point during the first
half of the games Sarnians were winning and Helsinki were
losing, meaning they were potenitally going 4 points clear and
Helsinki be level with the Eagles. During the second half
Sarnians had fallen behind but Helsinki still trailed which
would have meant Sarnians 1 point ahead of Helsinki and the
Eagles. But a crucial second half equaliser meant Helsinki ended
up avoiding defeat and ceding group to Eagles, and actually made
up the 1 point deficit to Sarnians. So by the final whistle
Helsink are top on goals difference from Sarnians and Eagles are
just three points back. Super tight going into the final 4 games
with Sarnians vs Helsinki still to come!

EAGLES CANT STOP HELLHOUNDS FIGHT BACK
Golden Eagles FC 2-2 Helsinki Hellhounds
Eagles were somewhat unlucky not to have taken all 3 points from
this game, having lead 2-0 at one point. Taavi Ruusumäki headed
the ball on to Pavel Chernyshev in the 21st minute and the
Russian striker lashed the ball passed Hiro Hikkara. And
Chernyshev made it 22 for the season 5 minutes later as Eagles
took a commanding lead.
However, their lead was halved in the 29th minute through Leda
Cygnus, whose shot took a wicked defection past Rafeal Alvarado.
Hellhounds will be thanking lady luck for that one! And luck was
on their side again as Juan Álvarez's goal in the 68th minute
was ruled out for a foul. There was nothing in it, however
Álvarez was offside when he picked up thr ball from Kai
Matsumoto, so it balanced out.
Then with 11 minutes to go Hellhounds we're all square, as Yuya
Maeta's shot dipped rapidly and Alvarado was left stranded.
"Frustrating to have dropped a 2 goal lead at home, but you can
never count out Hellhounds. Also, if you would have asked me
before the match, I would have taken the point." Commented Dave
Rosewell after the game.
Despite only drawing, Eagles are now only 3 points from top spot
and Hellhounds are the leaders again on goal difference. This
was after Sarnians suffered a shock defeat to Reykjavik Reapers
as they slipped to second.

🌟 Under the bright lights of Tata Stadium, Bomb'ay
Sapphire delivered a commanding, almost ruthless performance,
cruising to a 3–0 victory over Dusseldorf Dragons. From the
first whistle, Sapphire controlled the rhythm 🎼,
suffocating their opponents with slick passing, relentless
movement, and wave after wave of attacks. The Dragons had
moments of resistance 🛡️, but Bomb'ay’s intensity
and precision were simply too much to handle.
💥 The breakthrough came when Varuni_Chetti struck with
ice-cold composure, setting the tone for a one-sided contest. As
the Dragons tried to respond, they were repeatedly undone by
Bomb'ay’s midfield mastery and sharp transitions ⚡. Just
before half-time, pressure turned into panic, and a well-taken
penalty by Abbas_Singh doubled the lead, draining belief from
the visitors 😮‍💨.
🎉 The second half was pure Bomb'ay Sapphire showtime.
Varuni_Chetti struck again, sending the crowd into raptures
🙌, while chance after chance followed. Though Dusseldorf
battled bravely and their keeper worked overtime 🧤, the
final whistle confirmed what everyone had witnessed: a dominant,
confident, and stylish home victory that underlined Bomb'ay

Under the lights of a packed Elland Road, The Old Peacock
delivered a calm, authoritative performance to secure a 2–0
victory over Rix Bombardiers. From the opening minutes, the
Peacocks imposed their rhythm, patiently circulating the ball
and denying Rix any sustained momentum. The visitors were
further unsettled by an early injury to goalkeeper D_Veisbuks,
forcing an unplanned change that shifted the balance of the
match. Despite a few promising attacks from Rix, the Peacocks’
back line stood firm, with experience and positioning proving
decisive 🧱🧠.
The breakthrough arrived in the 34th minute in spectacular
fashion ✨. A rare forward surge from Jaap Stam opened
space for Wilko_Wilko, who unleashed an unstoppable screamer
