EAGLES CLAW BACK TO DRAW
Rael Nerrad 2-2 Golden Eagles FC
This time it was Eagles turn to make a comeback, as they clawed
their wad back from 2 goals down to earn a point at rivals
Nerrad. It was quite an even match, with Eagles having the
slightly better share of the chances. But Nerrad despite missing
Oli Marcentos are still a tough side to face and the hosts took
the lead after only 3 minutes through former Eagles midfielder
Anders Limt. And it's not the first time the Swede has come back
to haunt thr visitors.
Eagles then had a penalty appeal turned away after Eric Van Oist
clearly bought down Jussi Härmäläinen in the 32nd minute.
Everyone on the visiting side were quite upset with the ref and
who can blame them, yet another shocking decision, the OFMC FA
need to invest in some better referees... Eric Cantona then
doubled Nerrad's lead just before half-time to put them in the
driving seat.
Eagles managed to mount a comeback in the second-half however,
as Darío Bourrin found Härmäläinen in the 58th minute and the
Finnish striker scored with a cheeky lob over Royston Vasey. A
worrying moment then came when Amadeus Rahr came off injured
after landing awkwardly on his ankle following an aerial
challenge. It was later reported that the German defender
cracked a bone in his ankle and could be out of action for 4 or
so weeks, which is quite a blow.
Sub Julio Xavier then completed Eagles's comeback in the 63rd
minute with some brilliant skill. Stepping over the ball,
nutmegging the defender and smashing it home for his 22nd of the
season. The Mexican is in fine form and looks good for the
golden boot award. Both sides looked for a winner with Taavi
Ruusumäki and Gaspo Coteuax having the best chances for either
side. But it finished all square, which means Eagles stay in
3rd, but lose ground to Sarnians who are 4 points clear and
Hellhounds who are a point behind them after both sides won.
While the rest of the top 5 stays as it is.

🔥 DIVISION TWO THRILLER AT AERODIUM STADIUM
🔥⚽
🟥 Rix Bombardiers 4 – 2 Shrews FC 🟦
💥🌪️ Aerodium Stadium witnessed a wild,
high‑tempo battle as Rix Bombardiers outgunned Shrews FC
in a chaotic and entertaining Division Two clash. Shrews started
brightly and asked early questions, but Rix struck first through
Danni Anisjko, whose sharp snap‑shot stunned the visitors.
Steve Bull responded in style to level the match, yet Rix
refused to slow down—throw‑ins, quick transitions and
relentless movement kept Shrews permanently under pressure. By
halftime, Rix carried a deserved 2–1 lead, driven by aggression,
intensity and fearless attacking play.
🔴⚔️🔵
🔥🚀 The second half exploded into life almost
instantly. Rix came flying out of the blocks as R Krollis
punished defensive hesitation before Shrews imploded with a
disastrous own goal. At 4–1 the match looked settled, but
football drama was far from over. Despite going down to ten men
after O Dzenitis saw red, Rix showed steel and organisation,
while Shrews pushed relentlessly, finally pulling one back
through Chey Dunkley. The closing stages were frantic—shots
flying, tackles crunching—but Rix held firm under siege.
🧱⚡
🏟️👏 In the end, it was a statement
victory for Rix Bombardiers. They scored four, survived a red
card, and showed the kind of resilience that defines promotion
contenders. Shrews FC left with pride intact after an attacking
display full of chances, but costly errors proved decisive. This
match had everything—goals, controversy, momentum swings and
pure Division Two chaos. A night the fans won’t forget.

⚔️🔥 DIVISION ONE MATCHDAY 21 – DRAMA AT
MITUTOYO ARENA 🔥⚔️
🟥 Kyushu Yakuza 1 – 2 Bomb’ay Sapphire 🟦
🌪️⚽ Kyushu Yakuza started like a storm,
pressing high and creating chance after chance in front of a
roaring crowd at the Mitutoyo Arena. Caoimhin Og was everywhere
early on, missing two sitters before finally unleashing a
stunning strike in the 14th minute to give the hosts a deserved
lead. Kyushu’s midfield, led by the tireless D. Szoboszlai,
dictated the tempo with sharp passing and constant movement, but
their inability to convert dominance into goals kept Bomb’ay
Sapphire alive. 🟥🔥
💎🔄 Bomb’ay Sapphire showed ruthless efficiency
and resilience. Against the run of play, Ravi Vaknis produced a
moment of pure brilliance with an acrobatic bicycle kick to
level the match, stunning the home supporters. The visitors grew
in confidence, defended deep with discipline, and relied on
rapid counters through Abbas Singh. The turning point came in
the 62nd minute when pressure forced a cruel own goal, swinging
momentum decisively in Bomb’ay Sapphire’s favor despite Kyushu’s
continued attacking intent. 🟦⚡
⏱️💥 The final stages were tense and
chaotic, with Kyushu throwing everything forward in search of an
equaliser. Shots rattled the woodwork, controversial refereeing
decisions inflamed tempers, and substitutes injected fresh
energy on both sides. Yet Bomb’ay Sapphire held firm, surviving
a late siege to claim a vital away victory. It was a match
defined by missed chances, moments of magic, and
cold‑blooded efficiency—one that could have major
implications in the Division One title race.
