Flyboys 2 - 5 Helsinki
Flyboys needed something. Helsinki were through. This was some
fun for both sets of fans as both teams threw caution to the
wind! Hurts, McClare and Asanovic got Helsinki into a three goal
lead, before Kovacic and Hanzo hit back for Flyboys. Nerves were
settled when a two goal lead was restored before half time by
Shephard. Lyle Warwick added some gloss to the scoreline in the
second half. Cundy made 21 saves for Flyboys! Impressive stuff.
A fresh Shynkarenko was key in midfield with two assists. That
result meant Helsinki were the 2nd best group winner (behind
Kyushu with a perfect 18 points from 18) and will face the best
third placed team – which if we read everything correctly is
Hartlepool United. A tough tie, but one the holders will be
hopefully of navigating and progressing further in the
competition.

AFC Coventry 5-2 Golden Eagles FC
A heavy defeat for Eagles B side as they were thumped by
Coventry in the final League Cup group game. Eagles had already
won group E and made a trio of substitutions at half-time to
keep some players fresh for Saturday's division one clash
against Sarnians. While the win saw Coventry secure 2nd place
with Acorn also beating Sarnians (which saw both of those teams
eliminated from the competition).
Paolo Guille grabbed himself a hattrick, with T.E. Soltvelt and
Rior Kirkwell getting the other 2 goals for the homeside. While
Steve Bowen and Jussi Härmäläinen got the goals for Eagles with
the Finnish forward looking lively all game and providing an
assist.

It's actually Cockney Cockrells
[/quote]
That was what I thought! But then it made no sense to me as I
thought Kyushu as best 1st placed, should play the worst 3rd
placed team (ie Cockney)?
Also... Kyushu can't play Hartlepool (the best 3rd placed team)
as they are in the same group?

⚽🔥 SUNSET KNIGHTS vs RIX BOMBARDIERS — A WILD
NIGHT UNDER LA LIGHTS 🔥⚽
The match ignited under the bright Los Angeles floodlights as
Rix Bombardiers burst forward like a red storm. 🔴⚡
Yuya Maeta stole the spotlight immediately, slicing through the
Sunset defense with two explosive goals—one early dagger in the
3rd minute and another brilliant finish in the 39th—sending the
visitors into a frenzy. Their attacks flowed like fire across
dry grass, with R. Klavinskis orchestrating chance after chance
and Lukass Vapne stretching the Knights’ back line to its limit.
At 0–2, the Bombardiers looked unstoppable, their momentum
rolling like thunder across the stadium.
But the Sunset Knights refused to crumble.
🌅⚔️ Emerging from halftime like a team
reborn, they struck back with fury. Roysten While exploded onto
the scene, first with an outside‑of‑the‑foot
strike that lit the crowd ablaze, then with an acrobatic
scissors‑kick masterpiece that flipped the match on its
head. ⚡🔥 The stadium erupted again when Lucas
Harper unleashed a curling rocket into the top corner—an instant
contender for goal of the season—before Bo Nix sealed the
comeback with a ruthless 90th‑minute strike. Wave after
wave of Sunset pressure overwhelmed the Bombardiers’ defence,
turning the battle into a full‑scale reversal.
As the final whistle echoed, the LA night crackled with triumph
for the Knights. 🌟🏟️ They had staged a
stunning 4–2 comeback, forged through grit, flair and a refusal
to die quietly. Rix Bombardiers, despite their explosive opening
and Maeta’s brilliance, walked away stunned—knowing they had
been swept away by a second‑half whirlwind. It was a match
of fire and momentum, a story written in chaos and courage, and
a reminder that football’s magic thrives on the unexpected.
💫⚽
⭐🌅 Sunset Knights – Top 3 Players
🔥 Roysten While – Man of the Match, scored twice
including a spectacular scissors‑kick
🎯 Lucas Harper – Scored a stunning equaliser, constant
midfield threat
⚡ Bo Nix – Clinched the match with a powerful
90th‑minute strike
⭐🔴 Rix Bombardiers – Top 3 Players
⚡ Yuya Maeta – Scored both Bombardiers’ goals, constant
attacking danger
🎨 R. Klavinskis – Created multiple chances, key
playmaker throughout
🚀 Lukass Vapne – Tireless runner, dangerous shots and
build‑up play
