Helsinki 3 – 0 Nerrad
Holders Hellhounds happy heros as they progress as group
winners. Finally Helsinki were able to lift their hoodoo against
Nerrad and get three points off them this season. Nerrad were
very much a weakened team, so were there for the taking. But the
team still had to do the business on the pitch. After an even
start to the game, Helsinki took the lead in fortuitous
circumstance when Ricky put through his own net. Nerrad made it
to half time at 1 – 0, but the Helsinki manager read the team
the riot act at half time. So often recently it has been a blend
of defenders and forwards scoring the goals, but it was star
midfielders who came to the fore last night. First Shephard and
then Shynkarenko doing the business for the home side, getting
them into a 3 – 0 lead by 52 mins on the clock and the job was
done. The only sour note on the night was Asanovic limping off
in the first half but the medics are reporting it isn’t anything
too serious. Helsinki will win the group and now will await
their opponents in the knockout stages. One point of concern is
that Sarnians are languishing in third in their group and are
therefore potential opponents for a group winner, that would be
brutal.

⚔️🔥⚽ A Fierce Clash Without a Finish
— Darlington and Rix Bombardiers Fight to a Relentless 0–0 Draw
The battle at Feethams erupted from the opening whistle, both
sides surging forward with fearless intent. Rix Bombardiers
struck first with dazzling flair—R. Klavinskis gliding past
defenders with nutmegs and spinning trickery, only to be denied
by the inspired A. Bartlett, whose fingertips turned early
danger into early defiance 🔥. Darlington answered with
pressure of their own: K. Helleniuse and I. Miller carved out
chances that skimmed past the posts like warning shots in a
duel. What the match lacked in goals, it delivered tenfold in
raw edge, near‑misses and frantic defending.
As the tension grew, the game turned into a war of attrition.
Darlington’s midfield trio—Hughes, Miller and Jansen—wove
forward with sweeping runs and clever holds, but every attempt
was smothered by Rix’s disciplined defensive core. Matiss
Silins, playing like a commander in the back line, intercepted
danger with tackling precision and fearless anticipation
🛡️. At the other end, Yuya Maeta and R. Krollis
probed relentlessly, firing shots, forcing corners and pushing
the tempo. Yet every spark was extinguished by Bartlett’s heroic
stops or by last‑second blocks from the All Stars’
defensive unit.
The second half unfolded as a showcase of goalkeeping brilliance
and desperate defending. D. Veisbuks, Rix’s calm sentinel
between the posts, answered Darlington’s growing confidence with
commanding claims and lightning‑quick saves ⚡.
Substitute bursts, aerial battles and frantic scrambles saw both
teams inch agonizingly close to breaking the deadlock, but fate
refused to grant either side a winner. When the final whistle
cut through the cold night air, the scoreboard still read 0–0,
yet the match had pulsed with enough drama to fill a
thriller—two teams giving everything, and two goalkeepers
standing as unbreakable giants.
⭐ Top 3 Players — Darlington All Stars
🧤 A. Bartlett — Phenomenal shot‑stopping all
match; fearless, sharp and utterly decisive.
⚡ I. Miller — Constant attacking menace with bursts of
pace and dangerous attempts.
🛡️ K. Helleniuse — A persistent forward threat,
repeatedly stretching Rix’s defence.
⭐ Top 3 Players — Rix Bombardiers
🛡️ Matiss Silins — Man of the Match; dominant in
defence, flawless positioning and crucial tackles.
🔥 R. Klavinskis — Creative spark, beating defenders and
generating key chances throughout.
🧤 D. Veisbuks — Calm, commanding goalkeeper who
delivered several vital saves to preserve the clean sheet.

Golden Eagles 3 - 0 Sarnians
Eagles cruised to a 3-0 win over Sarnians who played only a
couple of first team players. The victory sees them cement
themselves as group winners with a game to spare with 2nd place
AFC Coventry drawing against Acorn Academicals.
Steve Bowen got the hosts off to a great start, as his long
range strike beat Ziggy Zoffenheim after 4 minutes. The ball
moved a lot in air and the German keeper ended up being totally
stranded. Julio Xavier then doubled the Eagles' lead 20 minutes
later, after Juan Álvarez fed the ball through to the Mexican.
Things got worse for Sarnians in the 29th minute as young Nero
Saffiro totally sliced his clearance and the ball ended up in
the back of the net, 3-0! The scoreline could have been worse,
but Zoffenheim managed to keep the hosts at bay during the
second-half.
