🔥⚽🌪️ Six‑Goal Chaos at
Oaktree Lane — Acorn & Rix Share a Wild 3–3 Epic
The match exploded into life almost instantly, the crowd barely
settling into their seats before Acorn Academicals struck first
⚡. Kiel Ginzalo, relentless and sharp, rifled a
left‑footed rocket into the top corner after just six
minutes, sending the home supporters into a frenzy. But the
Bombardiers answered with fire of their own, as O. Dzenitis
powered in a header after a chaotic bobble left the keeper
stranded. The game became a whirlwind—pulsating attacks,
desperate blocks, and breathtaking saves—before Yuya Maeta
danced past defenders and chipped home a brilliant finish to
flip the script in Rix’s favour. The energy on the pitch felt
like an electrical storm, unpredictable and dangerous.
Acorn refused to crumble. They surged forward with wave after
wave of pressure 🌊, pushed on by Jim Beam and Daniel
Finn’s precision passing. Ienko and Osmanov carved open space
again and again, forcing Veisbuks into heroic saves. Their
persistence paid off when Ginzalo met a low cross with a lethal
finish to level the match at 2–2 before halftime. The second
half continued the frenzy: Daniel Finn smashed in a devastating
long‑range drive to restore Acorn’s lead, sparking roars
across Oaktree Lane. Every minute became a duel—crunching
tackles, wild deflections, and relentless counterattacks
swirling under the floodlights.
But Rix Bombardiers, as they so often do, found life in the
chaos 🌩️. With time slipping away, Lukass Vapne
pierced the defence with a razor‑sharp pass, and O.
Dzenitis rose once more to send a towering header crashing into
the net for the dramatic 87th‑minute equaliser. The
stadium froze, then erupted—Rix fans in disbelief, Acorn
supporters in anguish. A final storm of chances from both sides
followed, but neither could find the decisive blow. As the
whistle blew, the 3–3 draw stood as a masterpiece of emotion,
mistakes, brilliance, and relentless heart.
⭐ Best Players — Acorn Academicals

⭐ Best Players — Rix Bombardiers

equaliser; unstoppable in the air.

Helsinki 4 – 1 Sunset
Fantastic first-half flourish finishes floundering opponents.
What the f?!
Helsinki came out the blocks with all guns blazing in this one.
In form star striker Karrar hit the back of the net in the 19th
minute with a lob having been set through by prodigious young
talent Prochazka and the team never looked back. Taylor then set
Karrar through for his second and he was in dreamland when he
won and then converted a penalty to make it 3 – 0 and round off
a first half hat trick. Taylor added a 4th in injury time to put
gloss on the first half performance. If it can be called a
disappoint when you win 4 – 1 it was that they didn’t get the
clean sheet and couldn’t add to their tally after the break. But
it was a fantastic win and with Nerrad falling to Sarnians, they
are now back on level points but Sarnians (their next league
opponents pip them on goals difference currently).

Golden Eagles FC 3 - 3 Artic Storm
Eagles were held at home by Artic Storm after throwing away a 2
goal lead with the visitors showing plenty of fight and fire.
Julio Xavier got the hosts off the mark after 12 minutes from a
wonderful Darío Bourrin cross.
Captain Taavi Ruusumäki then extended their lead in the 32nd
minute from Diog Guillems' corner as the Finn rose above thee
storm defence with a powerful header. This left Storm keeper Ed
Jackson fuming and that seemed give them a kick up the arse.
Storm pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time time as Brad
Shipley headed home James Leyland's cross.
It seemed that any possible fight back from Storm was put to
rest just half the hour mark, Guillems turned provider yet again
as he played Pavel Chernyshev through and the Russian smashed
home his 7th goal of the season. But Storm were then gifted a
life line in the 70th minute, as Amadeus Rahr made an
uncharacteristic mistake, allowing Billy Kidd to get the better
of him and the Englishman scored with a great shot.
The visitors' comeback was completed by Lewis Fisher from O.
Kleissmann's longball a couple of minutes later. Rafeal Alvarado
managed to get a hand to the shot, but couldn't keep it out. It
was all Storm for the last 10 or so minutes with Eagles looking
a bit stunned and they were lucky to hold on for the point.
It wont be the result that Eagles boss Dave Rosewell would have
been hoping for, the point still keeps them 3 points behind the
top stop as Sarnians beat Rael Nerrad, but they have slipped
down to 5th on goal difference behind Yakuza. Meanwhile Nerrad
drop to 3rd and Hellhounds are up to 2nd with them facing
Sarnians next week and Yakuza play Nerrad. So Eagles will be
hoping the teams above can trip over each other, although Eagles
have a difficult game away to Pompey themselves.
