Pompey 1 - 1 Helsinki
Just when you think you've seen it all. He's scored, wait a
minute no he hasn't, oh no wait yep, he has eventually scored 20
mins later. The upshot? A draw, Helsinki's first of the season
and whilst it was an entertaining series of events, it does mean
they fall off the top spot and in fact down to third on goal
difference with the miserly unbeaten Sarnians' defence putting
them ahead on goals difference.
In terms of the game itself, Pompey came for a point and that is
what they got. Their 5 man defensive with supporting DMs meant
they were able to limit Helsinki to 18 shots and when Helsinki
did get through they found the goalie in fine form. Even when
Helsinki did eventually break through, Pompey equalised
immediately with just their sixth shot of the game. So Helsinki
do indeed end up giving up the benefit of the Eagles result
almost immediately. They now look forward to the visit of 10th
placed Sunset at the weekend.

Golden Eagles FC 2 - 0 Darlington All Stars
Eagles got back to winning ways after their blip against
Hellhounds last week as they beat All Stars 2-0 at home. The
scoreline could have and should have been a lot bigger, as
Eagles dominated with 63% possession and 33 shots, but A.
Bartlett had an amazing game in Darlington's goal and at times
looked unbeatable, making 20 odd saves!
Pavel Chernyshev opened the scoring after 14 minutes with a fine
header from Steve Bowen's corner. Diog Guillems doubled the
hosts lead a couple of minutes before the break with a well
worked goal along with Julio Xavier.
And thats how the game finished, despite Eagles searching for
more goals in the second half. However, Dave Rosewell will not
doubt be happy with the 3 points as Eagles remain 3 points
behind new leaders Rael Nerrad. Eagles sit 4th with Hellhounds
and Sarnians a point above them. And all 3 of them have
difficult games coming up.

🔥⚽💥 Chaos, Comebacks & Carnage — Flint
Tropics and Rix Bombardiers Split Six‑Goal Thriller
🟩 Flint Tropics 3–3 Rix Bombardiers 🟥
The match exploded into life from the opening whistle ⚡.
Rix Bombardiers, even after a shocking early red card for
Matīss Siliņš in the 6th minute 🟥, came out
swinging with fearless aggression. Moments later, Ričards
Klavinskis showcased a moment of magic—flicking the ball over
his marker and rifling it home for the opener 🎯. With
Yuya Maeta’s blistering solo run and top‑corner finish on
24 minutes 🔥, Rix surged to a 0–2 lead, pressing hard,
dribbling past defenders, and bombarding the goal with ruthless
confidence. Flint Tropics looked stunned, unable to stem the
red‑and‑black wave crashing toward them.
But then the storm turned. Flint Tropics clawed their way back
into the match with pure determination 💪. Jonas Joyce
ignited the comeback with a sharp finish from Vakidis’ brilliant
cross, dragging the score to 1–2 and waking the home support
from shock into riotous noise. Moments later, Bridginho danced
through defenders with a mazy run 🌪️ before
firing in the equaliser right on the stroke of halftime. The
stadium erupted—Tropics were alive again, and Rix suddenly
looked human.
The second half became a wild, breathless firefight
⚔️. Rix regained the lead through A. Jaunzems’
rocket from the edge of the box 💥, only for Flint
Tropics to strike back again as Jonas Joyce delivered a
spectacular bicycle kick that sent the crowd into absolute
hysteria 🤯. Both teams traded furious attacks—posts hit,
shots blazed over, breathtaking saves from Domik Barszcz and D.
Veisbuks, and tackles flying everywhere. With chaos at every
turn and drama in every attack, the match ended 3–3, a perfect
storm of emotion, mistakes, brilliance, and pure football
madness.
⭐ Best Players — Flint Tropics
🌟 Jonas Joyce — Two goals including an outrageous
bicycle kick; constant danger all game.
🎨 Bridginho — Creator, dribbler, scorer of the first
equaliser; the team’s creative spark.
🛡️ Harry Wells — Strong tackling, recovery runs,
and several key defensive stops.
⭐ Best Players — Rix Bombardiers
⚡ Lukass Vapne — The team’s beating heart; constant
dribbling, creativity, and attacking threat.
🎯 Yuya Maeta — Scored a stunning individual goal and
remained one of the most dangerous players on the pitch.
🧱 A. Jaunzems — Solid defensive effort and the scorer of
a crucial long‑range goal.
