       Helsinki 2 - 1 Arctic
A red card for punching an opponent is never great in the 3rd
minute of the game, but somehow Helsinki made it through this
one and got the win. Yes, the manager lit a fire under the
players and asked them to start the game with energy and intent
but Taylor simply lost his head. Not to worry though as his
fellow midfielders got Helsinki in front on 6 mins. Shephard
played in Shynkarenko who dinked it over the on-rushing keeper.
1 - 0. Artic nearly hit back immediately but it was ruled out
for an infringement and then Helsinki got their second through
HarrisJones. 2 - 0 and a red card all inside the opening 7
       minutes.
From then on it was basically Helsinki having two shots for
every Artic shot and it the scoreline stayed the same until
injury time when Arctic got a consolation goal. It was a good
game and one that 10 man Helsinki deserved to win and helps them
to keep up the pressure on Nerrad who lead the way.
       Acorns 3 - 0 Old Peacocks
The Old Peacocks did indeed look old in this game. They mustered
just two chances all game long. Billy Gibbons got Acorns in
front before Thom made it more comfortable just after half time.
Gooden who came on as a second half sub then made it three - he
simply can't stop scoring at the moment!
       Cartagena vs Syracuse
The dreaded L tactic from Syracuse did the trick against
Cartagena as Syracuse nicked a tight game with 11 shots apiece.
Patrobe and Mace got the away side into a two goal lead but
Kamara hit back and on another day Cartagena might have salvaged
       something from the game.

Thames Ironworks 1 - 4 Golden Eagles FC
Eagles round off the year with a strong win away to Thames
Ironworks as they maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Welsh wing-back Steve Bowen opened the scoring in the 41st
minute with a sweet right-footed effort from Angelo Nazari's
long ball. Bowen then turned provider in the 53rd minute for
Darío Bourrin to grab his first goal of the season, who then ran
off to celebrate with the visiting fans. 9 minutes later, Eagles
were three goals to the good as sub Dustan Huevo's towering
header was knocked in by Pavel Chernyshev.
Ironworks then managed to grab a goal back in the 78th minute in
bizarre and embarrassing circumstances as Bowen passed the ball
back to Rafael Alvarado. The Ecuadorian keeper who has been
solid all game, slipped on the slick pitch and was helpless to
see the ball roll into the back of the net, what a calamity!
However, there was not to be any dramatic comeback for the
hosts, as Huevo scored 4 minutes from time as he restored
Eagles' 3 goal advantage with a goal that any striker would be
proud of. Despite only playing 30 odd minutes, the French
defender picked up the man of the match award for his goal and
       assist.
There will now be a 2 week Christmas break in OFMC and Eagles
are sitting pretty in second place after 7 games, level on
points with arch-rivals Hellhounds. They are only 3 points
behind leaders Rael Nerrad who they will face in the new year,
following the KO cup first round game against Gyergyoi FC.
