Kyushu Yakuza vs Acorn
Academicals
After the miscommunication between the league organisers and the
teams (who could have looked at the fixtures and noticed the
issue themselves), we get to play the first in a double header
of home games against eth AA, and no they are not Alcoholics
anonymous they are Acorn Academicals. For the league game we
have no suspension or injury worries we just have to shuffle
players about to maintain playable fitness levels while at the
same time look into what minutes are required due to agreements
in player contracts, Acorn are doing well this season and wont
be an easy walk in the park for us but we want to maintain our
lead at the top and put in the type of performance that screams
we are taking no prisoners.

Darlington All Stars -
WE got a poor result last time out and we must do better i will
rotate my team around and hopefully we can play much better and
get at least a point

La Mancha - Yerevan Stealth
After the players turned up for the midweek cup game, started
their warm-up and then were told the game wouldn't go ahead,
manager Valderrama has acted quickly by reassuring all players
that were selected for that game would stay the same for this
weekend's trip to somewhere in Spain (I think?), although it
could be a Tapas restaurant in Rochdale. That is assuming that
the correct weekend fixtures have been announced for this one
which of course isn't a forgone conclusion!
Fortunately Spain will be somewhat cooler than northern Europe
so we shouldn't have as much trouble with the weather and thus
have a good chance of extending our winning run. La Mancha are
at the wrong end of the table whilst we're in 2nd so the presure
will be on us to get a result.
Back to team selection and the reality is that we haven't a clue
who we've selected for the game with the teamsheet already
submitted to the FA and our useless secretary forgot to take a
copy so we'll have as much of a surprise as to who lines up for
the game as they will. Hopefully it will be including fans
favourite Franklin Wolf who scored and assisted from defence on
his debut to take the limelight away from our attacking
midfielders who have been shining so far this season.
We might be going with two up front but may have only selected
one and if it is the latter not sure which one it is that got
the nod, but likely to have been Virgil Clay, who remains our
top scorer despite not really hitting the heights expected of
him.
Whatever happens we hope that Yakuza lose, which is rather a big
hope given they are by far the best team in the league and it
will take something special to catch them given the organisation
bestowed by their manager Bruffio. All we can do is try and win
every game and see what happens elsewhere as a result.
