Helsinki 3 - 1 Nerrad
Happy campers over at the Hellhounds after a third impressive
victory in a row. They left it late though having fallen behind
and it wasn't until the last 10 minutes that they finally broke
through against a resolute Nerrad side.
For the second game in a row Helsinki fell behind to a very
early goal. This time Franke got the opener, set up by league
superstar Marcentos. Helsinki huffed and puffed with Denke and
Shynkarneko denied from midfield as Vasey had a great game in
goal for the first 80 minutes. Just after the hour Daaviski got
booked - that will put him out of the semi final against Nerrad
in mid week. Gutting for the youngster.
In training Jemmes is often mocked by his teammates for his lack
of ability in front of goal. But again, off the bench he was key
in finding the equaliser. That seemed to give Helsinki a second
wind and Karrar then HarrisJones grabbed the two goals that gave
Helsinki three points.
Cartagena 5 - 2 Flint
Fantastically entertaining game where there could have been even
more goals. 14 shots and 2 goals for Xavier sees him move to 25
goals for the season. 2 assists for Shiffo were also notable as
Cartagena all but secured their play off spot. Happy days for
Cartagena.
