Helsinki 4 - 0 Arctic (8-3 on AGG)
Best defender suspended.
Top midfielder injured.
Goalkeeper injured on 16 minutes.
Yet somehow Helsinki not only escaped and got through to the
next round, they somehow did it at a canter. Was it thanks to
the prowess of Shynkarenko, HarrisJones and Karrar? Nope. It was
three goals from defenders Dyachenko (2) and Prochazka and a
debut goal from Lyle Warwick that gave the team the victory and
sent them through to the Xbox cup semi finals. It could have
course been a different story had Arctic's goal in the 6th
minute stood but it was ruled out for offside. From the moment
Helsinki got themselves in front on 31 minutes they eased away
as Arctic had to chase the game.
We look forward to the draw and seeing who we are up against in
the two legged semi final in just a couple of weeks' time.
