Helsinki vs Sarnians
What better way to prepare for a cup quarter final than testing
yourself against the title contenders!
7th placed Helsinki at home to 2nd placed Sarnians. 5 places and
17, yes seventeen points separate the sides.
Helsinki are happy to have a full squad which is pretty much
fully fit to go up against Sarnians and will look forward to
trying to get the better of a team which has lost just once all
season and only been denied victory in 6 games in total in the
league.
Expect a strong side to start with in form Dougan again in
midfield and Maeta back from a single game suspension. Rumours
are that the club has been practising with a new formation this
week in training and this could be debuted against Sarnians.
Surely we're not going to see a more traditional back four from
the team that has played a 3421 formation for much of the
season? The Hellhound fans have come to expect goals goals goals
in their games, 111 to date in the league, and with Sarnians
seeing 81 goals in their league games, this one could be a great
watch. Prediction is Helsinki 2 Sarnians 4. If we're to avoid
that fate, we need to stop super star forward Laszlo Kiss from
scoring!

Highland vs Cartagena
Hmmmm, away to the league leaders, and Man Utd in the cup just a
few days later. Cartagena know that the cup needs to be their
priority so are expecting to field a changed side with one eye
on Weds' game. Happily they have a full squad to pick from and
will look to tailisman Jules Alvarez to continue his fine form
from midfield that has seen him score and assist with
regularity. Highland are the best team in the division for a
reason and arguably have the best squad, but they aren't
untouchable. These two clubs are the top scorers in the division
with 55 and 61 goals each in the league - expect fireworks.

Helsinki Hellhounds vs Sarnians
It’s just another league game, one of 30 across the season and
we’re taking each one the same, preparing how we will play our
game and our system and back ourselves to play well enough on
the day.
So it’s minimal changes, Codi Domino is back at number 10 and
Kai Pavlov returns to the side at number 8, with Guam Honest
dropping to the bench. There will be warm pre match hand shakes
from the team for Raffi Karrar the young Saffer showing the
promise from his early days at Sarnians on the big stage which
is good to see.

Just another league game.... or a chance for revenge following
the cup defeat and knowing you get a week off next week? So full
strength for Sarnians?

I’m cool about the cup, 3 finals in 4 years, and we’ve won it
twice.
It’s only fair to let everyone else have a go.
And every Sarnians side is full strength. ;D
