       Helsinki 1 - 2 Golden Eagles
You can't be too disheartened when you match a superior side
blow for blow and end up just on the wrong side of the result.
It was an even game but one of relatively few chances. Despite
Shynkarenko getting them ahead through and early goal, Guillems
equalised and it was the Eagles who found the decisive blow in
the second half through Torasco. Helsinki will pick their wounds
and look to plot their way, through their second leg cup tie
       against Tranmere on Weds.
       Dyer island 4 - 5 Cartagena
An absolute classic this one. Goals started flying in from the
start and it never really stopped. Alvarez was,the star of the
show with a hat trick that proved key to the result. It was
another encouraging performance for the young Cosairs who have
now climbed to 3rd in the table once again.

       Sunset Knights 3-4 Sarnians
Well two goals from Guam Honest fully justified the rotation in
the side, but my goodness from 4-1 up we had a nervous last 10
minutes as Knights pulled back two goals to give them and the
fans a hope of taking something from the game.
We’re delighted to take 3 points away from home and keep up our
momentum and pressure on the sides around us.

Helsinki Hellhounds 1 - 2 Golden Eagles FC
Eagles narrowly beat Hellhounds in their own back yard in an
entertaining and close match. There was barely much to chose
between the sides, both had the same amount of chances, Eagles
had a bit more of the possession and key tackles, while
Hellhounds had a couple more shots on target and key passes.
Indeed it was the home side that took the lead in the 22nd
minute, Oleg Shynkarenko scoring from Derek Dougan's corner.
However, Eagles were level 11 minutes later, Diog Guillems was
just too fast for former Eagles youth defender Martin Procházka
and his curling shot beat Hiro Hikkara.
The second half was just as finely poised as the first with a
lot of back and forth, with both sides having good chances. Then
in the 69th minute, Eagles took the lead through an unlikely
link up, between defensive duo Kai Matsumoto and Domenic
Torcaso. The Japanese centreback broke forwards, finding the
Aussie left-back and he smashed the ball home! Anyone would have
thought these two players were strikers in that moment.
Darío Bourrin then almost made it 3-1 moments later, but his
shot went over by mere inches. However, the game finished 2-1
to the visitors and the win sees Eagles stay top of Division One
on goal difference, with Sarnians also having won their match.
While Yakuza are still only a point behind and Storm are a
further 3 points behind, who Eagles play next weekend.
