Sarnians 2-0 Dyer Island Penguins
With qualification still up in the air before the game, it could
have been considered a gamble to fully rotate the side and line
up with 8 teenagers in the staring 11, but these are not just
teenagers! Codi Domino was central to everything we did and the
17 year old picked up his 9th goal of the season from Midfield
and his 4th Man of the Match as we secured our progress into the
knockout stages in front of a full 85,000 under the lights
midweek. The best fans in the world!

Cartagena 1-1 Nerrad
Credible draw to finish the group stage. Got out of jail with a
late goal and were under par in performance given visitors
rested plenty. But pleased a youth Cartagena achieved their goal
of progressing from the group stage. On to the next round!
Gyergyoi 0 - 2 Helsinki
Comfortable but as so often has been the case this season it
could and should have been more comfortable. Helsinki dominated
the game but couldn't hit the back of the net frequently enough.
Oh how they wish they had a profilic striker to stick the ball
in the net.
