Sarnians 4-2 Highland Rangers
If you are good enough you are old enough! Deadman’s Alley may
only be holding 40,000 for the next few weeks but there was
plenty to cheer. Proximo opened the scoring in the 12th minute
having been set up by Codi Domino and 4 minutes later it was 3–0
and Domino had added 2 more himself!
At that stage the game was all but won and his status as fan
favourite confirmed!

Cartagena - Wanchope comes back to haunt Utd again!
It must be about 27 years since Paulo Wanchope strode from the
half way line at Old Trafford past 12 reds players and stroked
the ball into the corner of the net on his Derby County debut,
so it was fitting that his son of the same name picked up where
his dad left off. Two goals for the 16 year old was a great
night for him in a 5 - 3 win. It got a little nervous when Utd
scored 3 in 8 mins but the side held on for a famous win.
Helsinki
6 - 3 wins away from home are rare, but perhaps less so when the
opposition's manager doesn't turn up. Helsinki were good value
for the win which gets them off to a strong start in the group.
Some of the squad are looking a little tired and Dyachenko
pulled up injured sadly and will miss 4 games.
