       Helsinki
If the club are to have a good season it is going to be
important to win the home games, so week 1 at home against
beatable opposition will be key. Arctic are a good side, but in
reality there will be tougher tests ahead. After 5 wins from 6
in pre season, the club will hope to hit the ground running.
Fully fit squad to choose from, all expected to be 100 percent
       fit too, game on!
       Cartagena
Its difficult to know what to expect from the Cosairs this
season and the club will need to find their feet. They don't
know much about their opponents Flyboys and how they'll set up
so they stick to maximising what they have and the tools at
their disposal and keep their fingers crossed.

       Thames Ironworks vs Sarnians
It’s here it’s here it’s FINALLY HERE. Season Five is officially
underway. We commence our campaign with a trip to London and
Macca’s Thames Ironworks. We are at full strength for the
journey and the starting eleven have had the benefits of a light
preseason. We’re a stronger side and Belisarius has developed
immensely to become the lynchpin of the defence. While the
starting eleven looks self selecting on paper there are 7
teenage players waiting in the wings and Skittles has been clear
are a priority to develop. This will become 8 in the coming days
with 16 year old Florence Isca set to sign professional terms.
       Game on!

       Manchester United v Darlington
Difficult opening game as we are both away and facing a strong
side. This means it will be hard to get something from the
       match.
We have Alfie Hughes out for this game but rest of squad is
fully fit so hopefully we can cause a problem and come away with
       some points.

Puskas Academia vs Golden Eagles FC - Division One
Golden Eagles FC's pre-season was somewhat ruined by Rael
Nerrad, after losing the 1st-2nd placed final of the Wildlife
Trust Trophy, despite being the better side. However, that being
said they still won 4, drew 1 and lost 1. Eagles look just as
strong as they did last season and are keen to get off to a
winning start away to Puskas Academia as they hunt for the title
that eluded them last year. Amadeus Rahr makes his first league
start for Eagles, while young scout forward Jussi Koko has been
       named on the subs bench.
Reykjavik Reapers vs Kyushu Yakuza - Division One
Big opening match for the newly promoted Division Two champions
as they host Kyushu Yakuza at a chilly and snowy Paragon
Stadium. Reapers will be hoping for a repeat performance of
their 2 leg win over Yakuza int he League Cup Semi-finals last
season. Returning loanee Ayho Kushimo faces his parent club as
he starts on the left of a 5 man defence, with Beka Ramishvili
who had an impressive pre-season on the right. Vilo Fleuss is
missing through suspension, with new captain Andrei Perebyinis
taking up the defensive midfield position. Reapers had a
brilliant pre-season, only losing once against Eagles in the
semi-finals and beat Man United to 3rd place. Dave Rosewell is
hoping they can keep up the same kind of form that saw them
dominate last season in Division Two.
Dyer Island Penguins vs Highland Rangers
Ranger pre-season got off to an awful start, losing 4 out 5
games in the Wildlife Trust Trophy with the worst run of Dave
Rosewell's managerial career. However, Rangers turned things
around in some style as they avoided the wooden spoon in the
31st-32nd place final by thrashing Flyboys 1986 7-2! Where had
that been hiding the whole tournament? Was it a fluke or had Mr
Rosewell finally found a formation and tactics that fitted the
new look Rangers? He will be hoping the the latter as they
travel to South Africa to face Dyer Island Penguins in the
       opening game of Division Two.
