       Cartegena Courier: It begins here...
       New beginnings, a new opportunity. Cartegena have no back story,
       no rich history. They were brought in to make up the numbers.
       But they have other ideas! They plan to do so much more than
       that. They want to shake up the second tier and maybe even
       challenge some of the more established clubs.
       Helsinki manager has been brought in to mentor the players and
       local staff and help them get on their feet. Pre season deals
       have been done to give the squad some shape and balance. They
       are undertaking all the pre season actions and plan some further
       additions before the season kicks off in earnest.
       Key to their ambitions will be prodigious young talent CJ Stroud
       who looks to have an excellent future ahead of him and will form
       part of a high quality midfield.
       Fun fact: Stroud grew up on the streets of Detroit, raised by
       his cousins, playing street football. He was plucked from the
       streets by the MLS and quickly progressed to a starter at age 15
       for Detroit City FC. It was from there that Cartagena spotted
       him. He's one to keep an eye on.
       Expectation this season? Youth to be given time and exposure to
       develop for the long term beneift of the club.
