MACHINE DATING

Piaggio are now the owners of Moto Guzzi as such own all the
factory records. A phone call to Piaggio UK customer services
with photos & frame/engine number & they will happily supply a
factory authorised dating certificate for FREE! Couldn't be more
helpful in contacting Italy, only took a week.
I will be submitting my documents to DVLA soon & will keep you
updated on any pitfalls or tips as I come across them.Jason

Good for Piaggio; others could learn something from that
example.

I got a Type Approval certificate a couple of years ago from
Moto Guzzi UK (Piaggio) for my 2007 1200 Sport so I could
register it in France. They said then that there would be a
charge but the certificate arrived with no bill so I thought
that was a result.
I also needed the same for my Citroen Berlingo and was told by
Citroen UK it would be £104.That also turned up for free!
