       Welcome Grumpy; nice to hear of a Civile on the road; most on
       here are Militare, but we're not picky... 8)

       doent select gears so ill be getting stuck into the inner
       dealings of it shortly

       No gears, or just hard to shift?
       There's an adjustment under the timing cover. See Handbook under
       Links section.
       Also a spring, that breaks, and is difficult but not impossible
       to get hold of.

       Careful taking the timing cover off to avoid displacing the
       timing gears.
