Whoah success at last !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I presume I add any text before I post Jake, is that correct
please ?
Incidentally, thats me 1949 BSA M20 and is probably the most
reliable machine Ive ever owned. Behind it is my 1957 James
Captain (197cc Villiers) and that Ive used for work for some 30
years. Terrific little machine !

This is driving me nuts Jake. Ive tried to post a few pics of my
Falcone but it keeps telling me 'the message body was left
empty'. No idea what this means or where it is and certainly, I
never included a message when I posted yesterday as I entered
this afterwards. Any ideas please ?

Hi Steve; the message box is what appears when you click Reply.
It looks like this:
[URL=
HTML http://s21.photobucket.com/user/bancquo/media/Classic%20Bikes/Falcone%20Forum%20Stuff/Posting/Clipboard01_zpsfcd2a5df.jpg.html]
You type what you want to say, and paste in the IMG code from
Photobucket, and then it looks like this:
[URL=
HTML http://s21.photobucket.com/user/bancquo/media/Classic%20Bikes/Falcone%20Forum%20Stuff/Posting/Clipboard02_zpsdc78f6e2.jpg.html]
Scroll down to the post or preview buttons, and click on
Preview, to see what your post will look like, and it will (wait
for it) show you a preview... ;)

If you're happy with it, click on Post; if not, scroll back down
to your message, and edit it before posting.

Ahh (although Im still not sure how I did it), looks like
further progress. Thats my 1949 BSA B33 by the way. Isnt there
any easier, more absolute novice and user friendly route than
this Jake please ?

Practice makes perfect Steve, and you're doing great!
It can get tedious if you're trying to do a long technical post
with loads of pictures, but if it's just one like you have here,
it comes with practice. If you have Photobucket and the Forum
open at the same time, it's just copy and paste.
Love the B33; much more attractive than the later ones.

Thanks for your patience Jake. I salvaged the B33 from a wet
through warehouse in Chesterfield numerous years since and
whereby the tank had no bottom in it, the spokes had rotted
through and the bike had dropped onto its rims, oh, and the
engine was a solid block. Took quite some time and effot to
return it to the road but it has now been and for a good while,
a completely reliable solid machine and it 'sounds like a bike
should' (know what I mean). Four of us do a yearly trip and that
always ends up at the VMCC event in Larne N.I. Last year we did
(from Ulverston), Bangor, Dolgellue, Tenby, Fishguard,
Rosslaire, Trim (Southern Ireland and eventually Larne and
return. 1200 miles in all with and as is usual, no probs
anywhere. This year we are going international ie to Arromanche
in France to see the british D Day front and from there , to
N.I. again. All good stuff with good company !

Good result! Try the VMCC Scottish Double some year. The S&T in
Crieff, followed by the National the following weekend.
It's great when people are confident (and competent) enough in
their old bikes to do trips like that.
