       The van makes sense to me for European trips on the NF, even
       though I had to ride it down to England to load up, and back
       home at the end. Realistically, as it's at least 1200 miles from
       here to Bardonecchia, plus the extra for going to Brion and
       Mandello, it would take forever to get there and back, plus I'd
       need a couple of oil changes en route and heavily increase the
       risk of breaking down in the middle of nowhere...
       Still camping though!
