howling Falcon

Hello,
i'm new to this forum, got problems with my old Falcone, and
hope, somebody has a tip for me.
i'm driving Guzzis for about 30 years, but the Falcone is new to
me.
It's the old one, with open flywheel.
it starts perfect, and in idle gear all ist good - wonderful
sound from the fishtail-exhaust.
But if you switch to first gear, clutch pulled, an howling sound
appears silently, and when driving it gets louder and louder.
closing the throttle makes the siren silent, accelerating again
the noise increases.
If the bike stands, gear to idle, all is silent.
I removed the flywheel and changed the gear on the crank, but no
success.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks a lot
Peter

Hi Peter,
Welcome to our forum.
When you say, "It's the old one, with open flywheel" do you mean
it's a pre-1968 Falcone and not a Nuovo Falcone?
Of course this forum is for the Nuovo Falcone, and that is a
very different machine to the original Falcone, with no common
parts between them...
