       Hi, I've just bought a 1970 Falcone, after looking for one for
       about 3 years. Great fun, a bit weird getting used to the heel
       toe gears, and being on the wrong side too, but I'm getting
       there!

       Enjoy and persevere, you will find it quite addictive, I've had
       my current one for 9 years.

       Welcome RB. Having a right side shifter to add to the heel and
       toe may be beneficial. At least you're not asking your left foot
       to re-learn every time your switch bikes. I spent the first few
       months using the toe conventionally, but once I started using
       the heel, would never go back.
