I have over the weekend managed to acquire a Might Nuovo
Military.Having test ridden a few recently I have found the
screen height to be right in my line of sight.Has anyone else
found this and is there a way around this short of surgery.

       congratuliation with your new ride.
i have the police fairing, and with the original single police
seat i can look over the screen
here is my girlfriend riding as you can see she -just- looks
       over the screen too

There are options of course, but possibly not to your liking.
Obviously, the screen can't be adjusted up or down, as the
headlamp goes through it. It will be possible to cut down the
screen itself, but this is not for the faint hearted, and can go
       horribly wrong.
Here's one article on doing it:

It does the slopy shoulder on the key point of blade and speed
choice. In my own experience, a blade designed for plastics and
with fine teeth is needed, and the cut needs to be slow, so a
variable speed jigsaw (or hand saw if you're skilled) is
required. Too fast and the plastic melts, which isn't the end of
the world, but makes finishing off much harder.
As an alternative, you could change the seat height.
One of our local guys fitted a pair of squash balls inside the
coil springs to reduce compression, and possibly even that
simple modification may take you up far enough.
I changed my seat on my Harley for a touring one, and had to buy
a low profile screen as a result, so it doesn't take much.
Oh, and the really easy solution. Sell the existing fairing and
screen for lots of money, and invest some of it in a universal
screen. Won't look half as good though.
       Hope that's some help.
