Hi, can someone post a pic of the mounting/clips that locate the
front of the riders seat on a nf 73 please as i am going to
       fabricate one.
       Thanks
       Phil

Not sure what you mean by clips Phil. The seat has lugs, that
should be filled with rubber mounts with a steel top hat inside.
These are mounted to the fame with a long bolt that goes right
through. I'd guess about 10mm diameter. it's the same as the
rear tank mounting apart from the length. Or have I
       misunderstood the question?
One caveat: the above relates to my Italian Militare.
JNA (Yugoslavian) Militare have a different seat, although I
believe the mounting is the same. Never seen the seat mount on a
Civile, if that's what you have.

       Hi banquo
Thanks for the response, its a JNA militare, at the moment the
seat has the 2 rear springs and just rests on the frame at the
front. The frame has 2 holes as does the seat, nothing else is
there. I was thinking there must be a catch to link the seat and
the frame or maybe the springs have been pushed back over time ?
       I will take a pic.
       Thanks again

If the holes in the seat are large (about 1" maybe) that's where
the rubber bushes go, and the long bolt goes through the lot.
Failing that, one of the JNA owners may chip in?

They are, I assume the seat and springs have just been pushed
       back.

Found some pix of a member's frame and seat. Not much help, but
the seat appears to have no springs at the rear, which is a
puzzle. Is your seat this shape?

This is my Militare seat base, waiting for a weld and powder

If your fitment looks like this, chances are you're just missing
       the rubbers and top hats.
Gutsibits have the rubbers, and may do the top hats too. I've
seen the top hats on eBay, possibly from one of the German
       suppliers.

My seats different, I'm sure it's original, with your help and a
bit of research I've now figured it out, top hats and rubbers
needed, maybe new springs [emoji106] then I'm sitting correctly
