       I'm thinking I'd like a nuove falcone
By: Clive Date: January 16, 2017, 2:36 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Hi.
       I currently own a 1982 Moto Morini 500 sport, a Morini 1972
       Corsaro 125 special and a 1961 Lambretta Li 125.
       I'm a big fan of Guzzi's having owned a V65 and a Centauro.
I'm really getting an itch for a nuove falcone.
The only stumbling block is the price, with dealers asking
       around £5k for one.
I was really looking at spending around £3 - £4k max for one,
selling the Morini to finance it.
Can a good one be had for that kind of money?
       Clive

There is one on ebay uk at the moment, price now dropped to
£2995. I know nothing about it but someone on here might.

not sure how much of a problem it is to get a imported bike
registered, but on the continent a nuovo falcone can be had for
       3500-4000 euro...
having said that , you might try one before comitting , the
falcone is about as fast as your corsaro , and weighs as much as
       the two morini's put together....
i have been out accelerated by trucks on mine, not everybody can
       adapt to that...

Prices have risen, but that's a good thing; better to invest
your money in bikes that increase in value than sticking it in
the bank. You still see tatty ones for under £3K, and that
Civile at <£3K has to be a good buy if it runs and shifts.

I paid 2 7 for mine and it's only needed setting up and
consumerables. Bought it a couple of years ago. Don't think
       anyone else was interested

       John Fallon of
  HTML https://www.madeinitalymotorcycles.com/
       has two
very nice Military ones at the moment - not cheap though.
I've done deals with John a lot over the years and he's a decent
bloke - but these NF's were too steep in my opinion.

Very nice bikes. I actually don't find the prices to be absurd,
as long as the internal quality matches the exterior (eh
       Jake?!).

I know nothing about those machines, but I know if John says
       they're good, then they're good.

Indeed Nick, but that's the same with any old bike.
I can't complain; it may have a rusty bore, but it ran for 15
years without burning oil, and the valve gear issues, could
probably happen to any machine. Buyer beware is a fine idea, but
if it's impossible to check, and it usually is, then you pays
your money and you takes your chance... ;)
