Just thought this section looked a little empty!
I spent some time finding the right oil with the correct amount
of ingredients for bikes of this age.I spoke to the guy at this
firm who is their bike expert to make sure.Oil is quite a
subject when you need stuff for old bikes.Anyway,this is what I
use in the NF and the V7.Oil for the gearbox and bevel box in
the V7 is quite tricky too!

Don't shove car oil in unless you want your clutch to slip

The Millers bike expert recommended their classic 20W-50 oil
which seems to work.Clutch does not slip,even with the immense
power of the NF.

Halfords Classic works too (as far as the clutch is concerned)
but as for longevity, who knows...
