Valve stem oil seals?

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has tried to fit modern valve stem seals to a
Nuovo Falcone? These are fitted to lots of modern engines, and
not-so-modern engines too - my 1975 Ducati 350 single engine has
them fitted. My Falcone uses more oil than I like. The bore
and rings seem to be in good condition, but the valve guides are
a little worn and I think this is the reason for the oil
consumption, as oil will be sucked down the valve stem on the
over-run. Has anyone tried an oil seal solution? Grateful for
any thoughts or advice......

If an engine is designed without seals I wouldn't add them.

Given that there already seems to be an issue with under
lubrication of the valve stems, especially the exhaust, might be
asking for trouble.
I'd be inclined to replace the guides instead.
