Rear Wheel Removal

Hello,
I need to take the rear wheel off my bike. What tools will I
need and is there a procedure that I can follow?

Hi,
To remove the rear wheel is an easy task, ;)
you don't need special tools, just a normal set of metric
wrenches; 8)
If you dont have a working bench to lift the bike , the rear
wheel can be removed also by using the central stand, provided
to put wooden shims of approximately 100 mm under the center
stand;in that case,pay attention, for the stability of the bike
::)
I suggest you, to read the user manual and the repair works shop
manual for the bike maintenance procedures ;)

Oh good then. A mechanic quoted me 100 EUR for the job saying
it's a big job...
I can't find the workshop manuals on the site. Do you happen to
have a soft copy?

You mean that if I shim up the center stand by 10cm then I won't
have to tild the bike or remove the rear fender to remove the
wheel?

that's correct ;)
once again , be careful for the stability of the bike, :'( hold
(secure) the bike using some slings and block the front wheel
brake;
even better if you have a step available (a walkway approx. 10cm
high) it will be perfect, in that case you should not use shims;
ATTENTION:
if you never worked before on a bike ask assistance to an
expert, in order to avoid serious injury , damages and
accidents;
