       The taper bearings from Pirner arrived yesterday and were fitted
       today. The bearings are FAG. There is a bottom seal in the kit
       and I am very pleased with it. I chilled the outers in the
       freezer and warmed the taper bearing so it would slide easily
       down the steering stem. I am now stripping off the fork seal
       holders in order to replace the seals. Guzzibits are supplying
       them.

       Success! Sounds like it's well worth the effort. There are
       progressive springs available for the front as well, while
       you're in there. Can't remember where, but possibly also Pirner.
