       Replacement Keys

When I got my Spada it only came with one key, I tried Gutsibits
for a blank but was unsuccessful. Called by at Motori Di Marino
yesterday and asked Pietro, he told me to call Express Keys in
Kent. I called today and gave them the number on my key, so will
have spares in a couple of days.
       Phone Number 01689 850008
Hopefully this might prove useful to others.

Speaking of keys...... my NF didn't come with any keys for the
tool boxes: the ignition key (which I don't think is original)
certainly doesn't fit. ??? There's something rattling around in
one of the tool boxes, and I'm intrigued as to what it could
       be....... ;)
There's no number on the toolbox locks........ Does anyone know
if clever locksmiths can work out the correct key shape, or do I
have to somehow drill them out and replace them ?
       Any ideas ?
       Ta

The correct locks seem to look like Yale locks, with brass
faces. Mine had been replaced with cheap cabinet locks when I
got it, and there's a thread on here about the kind of locks
that can be used (or may be on FB). The toolboxes I had from
Tonya had been locked, and had what I take to be the stock
locks. He'd had to drill them off, but I got the drilled ones in
the box of bits. Much larger face than the replacement ones, and
       more like 'proper locks'.
I don't think there's much chance of having a locksmith get them
open without being able to take them along. Mine are held on
with M6 nuts and bolts, so would not be easily removable from
outside, as the head will start turning as soon as it's slack?
Might be worth trying to get them off though, or ask your
neighbourhood tea leaf to pick them for you....
