Hello and Happy New Year.
I have just come across the NFVOC while wandering round the web
on a quiet Sunday.
Mine is a 1975 ex-police in almost standard condition.
When bought, the tank and carb were full of rust and worse,
loads of work and it goes OK.
I think I'll need to clean the carb again, soon, anyone any
experience of running with anything other than Dellorto?
It keeps the shed from blowing away in company with an ex-army
Super Alce.
Interesting use of adjectives that; 'New' and 'Super' !!
Good to be on board !
Philb

Hello Phil
Welcome. Pics? I (and is suspect the hoards here) would like
to see both - and any comments on their relative performance
etc.

Ho Philb and welcome to the forum.
Mine went through about 3 or 4 Halfords disposable in-line fuel
filters and as good a tank clean as I could manage 9it being
difficult, due to the inlet stub stopping you getting anything
back out again. Has been fine since. I'm sure someone will have
tried something other than the Dellorto, but dirt in fuel apart,
the stock carb seems to work OK.
I saw a couple of Super Alce on NLM's site; one green and
another is supposedly Libyan colours, although how all that
exposed valve gear would work in a desert is beyond me!
