       Tool Box keys-source...
By: David Gilli Date: November 22, 2015, 11:32 am

       Hello,
Further to earlier mention, I think i have found the tool box
keys available from lockdoctor.biz under Metal filing cabinet
key in the range of 92001-92400...
       Search box on the site.
I have not yet looked closely to see if the number is on the
       outside of the locks.
The two are different numbers from each other.
I see they sell the locks too in case you need them.
Apparently three numbers in the range of 001-400 would be on
the lockface.....(ie.last three numbers).my keys end in 90 and
99 and all the 5 numbers are on the key.
Worked out £7.14 total for the two incl. delivery. So we are
talking about cut keys here, not just blanks. I hope this is
       useful to someone.
       Best to all.

I bought two complete locks with two keys each, from eBay.Listed
       as you say,as locker locks.
I had to buy complete locks as a previous owner had bodged on
some bolts instead of locks.I think I paid about £10 for both.

Mine came with brand new locks and 2 keys, but although they
work well enough, the lock is far smaller than the original. I
got a pair of original ones with some Serbian spares, and the
lock faces are much larger in diameter, and brassy looking,
instead of the chrome that came on mine. If you're not a slave
for originality, the locker ones seem to do the job.

Direct link to the lockdoctor.biz page:

But ordering these requires knowing the last 3-digits of the key
code number, and unlike the ignition key, the key code is not
stamped on the tool box lock face.
What to do if the key code is unknown?

I bought a pair of locks from eBay which were for a Royal
Enfield. Not as nice as the originals, the lever needed bending
       a bit but they work.
Less than 10GBP if I recall.

I'm not inclined to replace the original locks if they are
       working okay.
Does anyone have the manufacturer and part number for a key
blank that will fit the original locks? If I can get blanks, my
local locksmith can cut a key to fit the lock.

I just ground the tips of some bigger keys thinner. Took three
       minutes.

       Reviving this thread. . . .
I finally found a locksmith who was able to make new keys for my
       original tool box locks. Whoot!
The locksmith says he used an Eagle 01014SM key blank.
Hopefully that information is useful to others.

Thanks PG - the code seems to be (letter) O1014 not 0114. but I
can find only O1014S on their site - no sign of SM
