Refurbish front forks - who could do it for me?

The clonking sound coming from the front forks of my Falcone
(1974 - ex-Policia Municipale) has been diagnosed as coming from
worn parts around the pistons. Oil leaks out quickly. There is
need for new parts and seals in both arms. Can anyone please
tell me of a good reliable mechanic who could do this job for
me? I'm pretty sure the necessary parts are available, either in
UK (I'm in Cumbria) or Italy. Thank you

Hi there is a manual by a bloke called Martin Noke that covers
replacing the worn parts. He recommends a couple of special
service tools. If you dont feel confident enough to do this job
yourself your best bet might be to remove the forks and send
them to a Guzzi specialist. I am not too far from Cumbria but
dont know of any handy to us. Failing that there are a number of
people on the net who repair suspensions and may have all the
gear and experience necessary. It might be worth ringing one or
two of them to see what they can offer.

Yamaha SR500 dust caps are said to fit, but only the original
Yamaha ones, and not aftermarket (according to Kater on
       Advrider).
You need to pare off the ridge on the seals and supergule them
       into place.
The special tool for the fork damper removal is simply a long
t-bar with a thread at the base. i had one made up. M8 IIRC.
NLM would fix it as well I suppose?
