Thats what the previous owner thought too. He didnt like the
disc either so sold the bike to me. When I say sold I mean
swapped! There is a conversion kit available to reinstate a
       carb.

Aye, but plenty of time for that if the EFI goes wrong!

Congratulations. I really like the latest Enfields (see
RealClassic RC 134 June 2015) and

/>if you need any inspiration. There's not much I would want to
       change. Great feeling modern classic!

Hi Nick I did see your article as I am a real classic member.
There are about 3 or 4 of these enfields in the village where I
live and all the owners sang their praises. I have done a couple
of hundred miles on it in the past week and you are exactly
right it feels like a bike from years ago but with the modern
conveniences. Not as characterful as the falcone but I am lucky
in having the room for a few toys. Our local MOT man who is into
pocket rockets had a ride on it and was smitten as was my
brother who is into Nortons and AMC two strokes.

290 miles on the Enfield yesterday to the Teesside classic bike
show and back. Sun was on parade after riding through dense cold
fog between Bury and Thirsk. Lovely ride back through the dales.
Very little traffic till I got back to the M60 where it was the
national lane swapping without indicating finals.

Yes there were some lovely bikes all the usual British stuff
with some European goodies too. A bloke was there with a very
original Brough complete with period badges and Mascots. I didnt
see anything unusual or out of the ordinary not even amongst the
visitors bikes. I mainly go to have a natter with my TYMC
cronies one of whom was exhibiting a Scot racer ex Barry Scully.
There are pictures of this on the internet.

Yes, one of our SCMC members was down from Fife and sent a pic
of a Mark l Brough. Rim brake on the front, and Norwegian flags
from Nordkapp. There's a web site for the bike, but not easy to
       link while I'm travelling
