N F seen at Garstang Autojumble.

I was at Garstang autojumble on Sunday and there was a heavily
modified NF. Looked like an older set of modifications or was it
a civile. It had a hydraulic rear brake and very different
handlebar controls. The centre stand was drilled The carb fed
the engine from the rear and not the side. It had a lots of folk
peering at it. As the call of the snack wagon I left it and it
was gone on my return. I have got some pictures which I have put
onto photobucket. I dont know how to make these available to the
       forum .

Hi Cryospped; that sounds interesting. Why would anyone want a
hydraulic brake on the rear of all places? Mine locks up if you
apply with any enthusiasm, and seeing the length of the brake
       lever, that's no surprise...
To put your pix up here, start a reply to this topic on here,
       and have your Photobucket open.

Click preview, and your photo should appear.
Tips: if your photo is large, it may not show fully on the

it's better to resize the photo before linking to it on your
       post.

The hydraulic rear brake reservoir seems to be a chain oiler

No problem; glad it worked out.
There are some very strange modifications to that NF.
The inlet manifold looks like it's off a Civile, and the bike
may be Civile in origin, but that looks like a V35 or V50 tank,
and the seat also may have originated there. I'm not clear about
the hydraulic brake, as we still seem to have the brake lever
and the lever on the rear SLS drum.
Just had another look; it's not a hydraulic drum - it's a home
       made chain oiler.
He's extended the clutch arm presumably to relieve effort at the
lever, lost the heel end of the gear shift lever, and fitted the
       external oil filter kit.
The dash isn't Militare, and probably a Civile, so my guess is
that it's been a Civile, that's lost its tank and seat, and been
modified with what's available. Someone on the old forum
suggested a V35 tank did fit, but I've never put it to the test.
He'll have lost a few grams by drilling out the centre stand!
Next time, you'll need to sign him up, so we get the whole
       story!

Yes some interesting mods. Definitely a v series tank and
possibly seat. If it is there in September I will look for him
       before I have my burger,
