Hi I spoke to NLM today and a bloke there said he thought they
had the sprockets points and condensers in stock. I ordered them
now its a matter of waiting to see if they turn up. Hopefully
the truckloads of spares were not destined for the smelter.

Looks like this bloke in Serbia has found some of the spares.

Possibly, but he's been selling NF parts for years, so I suspect
his source may be older...?

I was in Southport yesterday as my ultimate riding machine had a
number of recalls on it and Southport Superbikes were going to
sort it all out. I popped in to Southport motorcycles and the
bloke behind the counter ie the owner is the very man that found
the cache of bikes in Macedonia. It was an interesting chat and
he took the actual photos of the bikes in situ which are on the
internet. I asked him about the lorry loads of parts and he did
indeed try to buy them but the price wanted was well beyond
their worth. The storage conditions had not been ideal so for
example the cylinders were rusty inside and wheels had tarnished
rims. The seller wanted the equivalent of brand new prices when
in fact some of the stuff needed work and some was just scrap.
There also seems to have been a few fingers in pies too. I
couldnt chat to him for too long as he had business to do and I
had to collect my bike. I will pop in there again preferably on
the falcone.

That's interesting to know; presume whoever bought them will
want far too much for them anyway.
Hubs interesting, wheels less so, and rusty cylinders? At least
they can be bored out for greater capacity, but what we really
need is the rare engine parts and transmission parts....
