Howdy, I Picked up my 72 NF while stationed in Napoli. She's
currently not running and I'm hoping to find info on this forum
to get her on the road. You'll probably see a few post from me
asking for insight and recommendations on where to get parts.
She's a 500cc and if you know about Italian documentation. She's
"gold carded". Verified by the government of Italy to be parts
matching.

Welcome GS. We're a small group, but keen. Pictures? In the
meantime, there is lots of useful information buried in some of
the threads.
Keep us up to date with progress.

Welcome to our little band Steve.
Parts matching not a big issue with the NF, as they're not that
kind of classic (i.e. I've never seen anything commanding a
premium because of matching numbers).
Is yours a Militare, Carabinieri, Sahara or Civile?
Parts for the Civile are harder to get, because there weren't so
many made, and many parts are different (inlet manifold,
electric start, fuel tank, instrument console, flywheel, rear
sprocket, etc.).
Some parts are easy to get and readily available, but others are
like hens' teeth, and a lot of engine and gearbox parts are just
not available, or if they are, we haven't found them yet.
There are details of parts suppliers, mainly in Europe, in the
links sections, and the parts sections.
Some pix would be nice!
