"The Nuovo Falcone was introduced in 1969 as a military/police
bike with a civilian model following in 1971. Compared to the
older Falcone the new model featured a wet sump design, modified
gearbox (still four speed), an alloy cover for the external
flywheel, 12v electrics, optional electric starter and a new
frame and bodywork amongst other changes. The Civile differed
from the military/police model in having a lighter flywheel and
many parts from the V7 Special such as the instruments.
Originally painted in white/red frame, from 1974 it came in dark
red/black frame with stainless steel guards. This particular
silver bike is a unique factory build for the Dutch importer,
Greenib and is in original unrestored condition. Production
ceased in 1976 with 2874 Civile models and 13,400
military/police models produced. 26hp at 4,800rpm. Dry weight
214kg. Top speed approx. 130kph. Photographed in Victoria. 2015.
       Teo Lamers collection. "
