       YUGO ARMY CACHE-IS YOURS ONE?

Hi guys, last year I bought one of the ebay ex Yugo army NF from
GI Surplus . I bought mine after a guy (maybe you?) bought 4, so
that's 5 of the original 10. Who on here bought one ? I would be
interested to know where they all ended up . It would be nice to
think they are all running or in the process. Hands up then!

Tonya has one (now a bobber) and there's another one in
       Scotland.
Don't know who bought the four, but presumably a Trader?
       Are you on Facebook?
The Facebook Groups a bit more active than this forum... :(

I remember now, 1 was done up ready for sale, 4 went to one
person before me so that's 6 including mine so tonya's is 7
leaving the remaining 3 yet to be accounted for.
I have copies of the original auction paperwork if anyones
interested for all ten, which may help with registering if you
       haven't already done so.

I have 1, I bought it for pure nostalgia as I had one before and
enjoyed it. I now realise I am not going to use it so intend
putting it up for sale. I have a fairing and screen also a brand
new leather skirt. The fairing had a few cracks which I have
filled needs a paint job. Also have pannier rack and panniers
which I may sell separately. Anyone interested would have to
either collect or organise collection as due to size cant
       package them.

I bought Georges bike a few weeks back and it is a runner.
Funnily enough there is a picture of it on the GI surplus
website as if they still have it for sale. I have had it MOT d
and its now on the road but I have a few bits and pieces to sort
       out.

Just registered on this forum, I've got one which i brought of a
friend who got it from GI 3 years ago, he has done nothing to
it. Started it today- much work to be done.

Hi - I also have 1 from that batch, had it shipped to Germany.
It had a few more problems than I was expecting (especially
considering it had a fresh MOT!) so it is still under partial
rebuild, then I have to jump through all the hoops to put it
onto German registration. Am hopeful that it should be done for
       this summer.
Spares resources are quite good over here, the NF seems to be
       popular.

Yes, you soon find the MOT's not worth the paper it's written
on. Some of the JNA ones seem to have been in pretty poor shape
(which is why i didn't buy one).
As you say, Germany's the place to be for parts, with The
Netherlands a close second and perhaps Italy.
There's still no word of where the lorry loads of spares
purchased at the same auction (in Serbia or Croatia) ended up,
but I assume with one of the established dealers.
