       Came across this one today. Different from the norm. Anyone seen
       it around?

       The scary thing is, I'm starting to like the naked look.  I may
       have to park my bunkbed exhausts for something more mellifluous
       and shed some metal.

       Not at all scary Nick, and that's the great thing about the NF.
       With everything pretty much bolted on you can have a whole range
       of bikes with half an hour spanner work. I still have everything
       I took off, plus a whole load of spare parts, and it can go back
       together any time. After the stripped down look for the first 10
       years, I'm really liking the old fairing, screen and steel
       panniers now, but it could be back to bare bones in no time. I
       doubt I'll ever use the leg shields, because I've always like to
       see the engine in any bike I've owned, which is why I don't
       expect to be buying a crotch rocket any time soon.
       Actually, there are a hundred other reasons, but that one fits
       the argument... ;)
