New server, new life, worst PC.

As you all know, mah name is Black Rose, I am an old user in
this great server, and you may also know I was offline for a
very long period of time. This is because of my PC, when I
started in 2015 it was a really fast PC, no lag at all, but then
an unexpected thing happened, a Microsoft Windows notification
saying ''Windows 10''. As a curious man I clicked it, it took
like 3 hours of installation. Then my PC aqquired a brand new
interface, BUT that was the ONLY cool thing of Windows 10,
because, compared to Windows 8 (my old OS) it was, in easy
words, SLOW AS FUCK. Every single time I connected to NTS, 5 sec
Lag Spikes (thats the name I use when lag is so strong that I
can't even move my mouse for one full second). Now, fortunately,
I have reseted my PC, now it has Windows 8 again, but Terraria
still runs a bit slower than the first time so, cut to the
chase: Can someone tell me how to succesfully speed up my PC?

Of course,
1. Update your graphics card drivers.
If you performed a reset back to win 8, chances are that drivers
have been wiped and you want to do anything but use the kernel
ones. They are much slower than drivers from the graphics card
vendor generally and can't fully utilize performance of the
graphics card.
2. Rekt details in Terraria
This is self explanatory, isn't it? The lower the details, the
faster the Terraria
3. Use Radeon Pro or your Vendors control panel to enable
optimizations such as Surface Optimization, Triple Buffering and
Flip Queue
4. Use Radeon Pro or your Vendor's control panel to rekt details
of Terraria artificially
5. Defragment hard drive. This can yield you just a little bit,
but still.
